CHRISTMAS IN JULY-AUGUST
2023 Rio Grande Valley
Help make stockings and purchase items to stuff the stockings with. The stockings will be distributed during a mission trip to the Valley. You are invited to go on this mission trip. If you are interested in going, call the Association office at 281.422.3604.
Stocking patterns and material are available at the SJBA office for individuals or groups who would like to make stockings. DO NOT stuff the stockings you make with the stocking stuffers you buy.
Donations may be made to SJBA for the purchase of items to go into the stockings OR you may purchase items and bring them to the Association office starting in August! Shop resale shops or garage sales for “gently used” items, dollar stores, clearance sales, or buy bulk.
Your help is needed and appreciated as in the past we have not had enough stocking stuffers for the number of stockings made.
Suggested Items
Look for items that will fit into a stocking
Girls Stockings
- 4”-8” dolls (not easily broken)
- Jacks or jump rope
- Crayons, rulers, scissors
- Jewelry (necklace, bracelet, scrunchie)
- Small toys or small stuffed animal (think Beanie Baby)
- Kids meals toys
- Tooth brush & tooth paste
- Coloring books

- Small sturdy die cast cars

- Yo-yo or Paddle ball
- Play dough or clacker toy

Stockings and stocking stuffers must be brought to the SJBA office by November 13, 2023.
You and your friends are invited to the SJBA office November 16, 2023 to stuff the stockings from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Call 281.422.3604 if you have questions.

participar en este viaje misionero. Si se interesa en

Los patrones para hacer estas Medias Navideñas están disponibles en la oficina de la Asociación San Jacinto para personas o grupos que están dispuestas para hacer estas costuras de Medias Navideñas.
Donaciones monetarias se pueden hacer enviándolas a la oficina de la Asociación San Jacinto para las compras de los dulces y juguetes para rellenar las Medias Navideñas. O usted mismo puede hacer sus compras y traerlas a la Asociación empezando en julio! Necesitamos ayuda para rellenar las medias navideñas, con artículos. En el pasado no hemos tenido suficiente artículos para llenar las medias.

Valley Mission Trip

We will be traveling to Harlingen, Texas to assist Iglesia Bautista Avondale to connect to their community by hosting a block party event, passing out Christmas stockings to all the children, and more!
