Valley Mission Trip August 10-11 delivers 105 backpacks
Rio Grande Valley Christmas Project Report
The event was a great success. We had 32 persons participate from four different churches: First Baptist Baytown; First Baptist La Porte; Wooster Baytown and Nueva Vida.
About 270 children and adults turned out for the block party at the colonial. Including the group, there was over 300 at the block party. There were games, food, and drinks. We shared the gospel in word and thru songs. We distributed over 200 stocking, gave clothing for the adults, and gave countless toys as prizes for participating in the games.
Sunday worship service was at Emanuel Baptist in Alton,. We had over 170 persons attending church. There were 5 persons saved. We distributed about 55 stocking and provided hot dogs for the whole congregation. Total stockings distributed, give or take, were 260 over all. Even though the weather was very cold, everyone rejoiced in taking part in the event. All glory goes to Our Lord Jesus.
A personal word: I want to thank everyone who has supported the mission work in the Valley these past few years, under my leadership. I pray you will continue supporting this ministry thru the San Jacinto Association. I will no longer be leading this project in the future. I will no longer be accepting contributions of items for the Valley. Please direct yourself to the San Jacinto Association. Again Thank You and God bless you all.
In Christ’s Love, Willie Rosales
