Worsham has called a Launch Meeting to encourage Pastors and other church leaders to join our plans to focus on being one people in multiple congregations by coming together to be One in Prayer.  \n  \nWhat is our plan? To organize an association-wide prayer conference that will pray for individuals who do not know Christ as Savior to accept Him: Until Christians will renew their fervor for the Lord’s Kingdom: And until Christ will grant the “Great Awakening” we are seeking! \nWe pray for an anointing of the Holy Spirit that brings peace to our homes and our troubled world. That our parents become burdened to bring their children to church and “raise them up in the admonition of the Lord.” That our people return to God by the thousands and not love the world\, neither the things of the world” (and choose the Lord’s church first as Christ has directed) – “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.” (Hebrews 10:25) \nWhen I was a boy\, revivals lasted for six weeks! Later\, they were reduced to two weeks. Still later\, the norm became one week. More recently\, Sunday thru Wednesday (3 days). Today\, hardly at all! We no longer sow “Revival Seeds.” \n“Revival Seeds” are sown by Prayer! \nBeloved\, without prayer\, churches struggle\, lose visitors\, lose members\, salvations\, baptisms\, finances\, and many close their doors! \nWe know that we cannot force anyone to pray. But it is this very desire in the heart of our people we are attempting to awaken. And Jesus Christ is the only one who can! We must become convicted that the only way to change society is to change people’s hearts! Originally settled in 1824 by Henry and Nancy Jones as part of Stephen F. Austin’s colony\, this 23\,000 acre working ranch stands as a testament to the independent spirit of Texas. Explore the lives of four generations of this remarkable family and share the experiences that molded this farming and ranching empire and helped shape the history of Texas. You will visit four homes built from the 1830s through the 1930s. The historic homes are connected by a paved loop that is approximately one mile long. A Park tram runs continuously around the loop. He joined the staff of the SBTC in 2009. Ted has served as a pastor\, interim pastor (7 churches)\,    evangelist (14 year ministry affecting 14 nations)\, and state convention leader (13 years) in both evangelism and prayer. Ted holds both the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Cheryl and they have four grown children. \n  \nNOTE: Venue changed due to lightening striking the steeple of the original 2018 Annual Meeting location at Dell Dale Avenue Baptist Church in Channelview. Dell Dale Avenue Baptist Church will now host the 73rd Annual Meeting in 2019.
