SUMMARY:The Printing Museum ~ Senior Life Ministry Day Trip
DESCRIPTION:The Printing Museum\nAugust 14\, 2020\n9:00 am\n  \nRegister online at www.sanjacintobaptist.com or call 281.422.3604 to register. \nTwenty-eight passenger bus departs at 9:00 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. tour of The Printing Museum. During your guided tour\, you will learn of early forms of printing\, participate in the hands-on printing of a leaf of the Gutenberg Bible pulled from a replica press\, print a copy of the Declaration of Independence on a 19th-century Columbian iron handpress\, discover the importance of the Linotype machine\, and witness advances in printing and self-publishing that came about in the 20th century. Your tour concludes with a visit to our craft studios\, and temporary exhibitions (if offered at that time) and video. Cost of this trip is $13 plus lunch at a place to be determined. We will return to the Association at approximately 3:00 p.m. \n  \n

For those joining in person\, you will receive your BGCT ACP packet or your SBTC ACP card\, review all new processes\, have a great lunch and fellowship! For those joining via Zoom\, you will receive your information via email. Call 281.422.3604 to register\, or register online at www.sanjacintobaptist.com for in person attendance or Zoom attendance. Please register by August 18. \nIt is important to attend this meeting to get all the newest information about completing your (ACP) documents. We will also go over the importance of and uses for the information you provide on your ACP and how this information can help your church! \n(BGCT churches: BGCT has revamped their process this year so you do not want to miss this training!
