Bay Area Homeless Services (BAHS) has been serving low-income and homeless citizens of a three county area since 1982. With offices located in Baytown, BAHS serves about 300 homeless individuals and families each year, providing shelter, three meals daily, job readiness training as well as clothing and furniture vouchers.
“Our goal is to assist each homeless individual return to self-sufficiency, and become a contributing member of the community again” says Executive Director Bill Eckert. As a 501 c 3 non-profit, your contribution may be tax deductible, based on your individual tax situation, says Eckert.
